During this multi-day certification program, we will provide you with the education and tools necessary to explore, in depth, the impact of stress on the physical, mental and emotional bodies of children and teens. With a focus on cultivating greater mental and emotional health, the information and experiences shared are intended to inspire and empower teachers, caregivers, and the children/teens they work with to create happier and healthier lives. During this 5 module immersion you will:

Explore in depth the science of stress and the impact on the developing mental/emotional brains and bodies of children and teens


Learn about the 4 Pillars of Happy and Successful Children as this is the foundation for happy and successful adults


Gain a better understanding as to how to share your new skills in your circle of influence and area of passion.


The Lifestyle Meditation Level 1: Meditation for Kids and Teens teacher training, certifies you to teach a two-hour introductory meditation workshop, in addition to leading guided individual or group meditations to kids and teens, as well as to their adults.

According to a recent report from the American Psychological Association, most Americans are suffering from moderate to high stress, with 44% reporting that their stress levels have increased over the past five years. But, this stress is also taking its toll on kids as almost 1/3 of children reported that they had physical health symptoms associated with stress over the past month. Headaches, stomach aches, and difficulties falling or staying asleep were all concerns of the children surveyed.

With an undeniable increase in the energy and information bombarding our children, it’s no wonder that they are overstimulated, frustrated, and feel a mountain of pressure almost daily. And while we may not be able to control much of this, there is something that we can do to support their resiliency. Meditation and Mindfulness practices have been studied extensively and the data is in- these ancient techniques offer powerful tools for self-regulation, stress-resiliency and the development of responsibility and compassion.


In this this 2 hr. workshop, Mandy Trapp, Founder of Lifestyle Meditation and mom of 3, will share with you powerful tools and strategies that will help you to nurture your own mental and emotional health as well as that of those in your care. Through a little education and practice, you will have the ability to influence change almost immediately so that everyone, including you, will be navigating the stresses of life with less resistance, and much greater ease.
