Add a new dimension to your practice and teaching with Raja Yoga, the science of meditation that leads one to experience greater peace and joy in life and spiritual realization. Raja Yoga purifies, strengthens, and harmonizes all aspects of the individual.
Raja Yoga Teacher Training provides a unique opportunity to study and apply these great teachings to your life. You will also be trained in public speaking and teaching skills, empowering you to skillfully share these concepts with the world.
The curriculum includes:
-In-depth exploration of the Yoga Sutras
-How to organize and present these teachings to your students
-Instructions for how to incorporate these teachings into daily life
-Opportunities to deepen and refine your own practice of Hatha -Yoga, pranayama, and meditation
-Training in answering questions, leading discussions, and developing group rapport
-A syllabus for teaching a six-week Raja Yoga course

This course is open to Yoga teachers who have completed a Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour teacher training program. Upon successful completion of the training, a diploma will be given certifying you to teach Raja Yoga

Yoga Alliance (YA): Approximately 145 training hours
Healthcare and Related Disciplines: Although CMEs are not offered, a certificate documenting CE hours may be available for your discipline.

Swami Ramananda is the President of the Integral Yoga Institute in San Francisco and a greatly respected senior teacher in the Integral Yoga tradition, who has been practicing Yoga for over 35 years. Ramananda offers practical methods of integrating the timeless teachings and practices of yoga into daily life, and transforming the painful aspects of human experience into steps toward realizing one’s full potential.
He leads beginner, intermediate and advanced level yoga teacher training programs in San Francisco, and offers a variety of programs in many locations in the U. S., Europe and South America. Ramananda trains Yoga teachers to bring Yoga into corporate, hospital and medical settings and has taught mind/body wellness programs in many locations. He is a founding board member of the Yoga Alliance, a national registry that supports and promotes yoga teachers as professionals. His warmth, wisdom and sense of humor have endeared him to many.
